United with the sole passion of bringing together all educators and teachers who shape the society but who have no platform to voice their opinion, suggestion or grievance.

Our Journey

The journey started in 2013 when a group of teachers met at a marriage reception and continued their association via WhatsApp. The group exchanged notes on matters of common interest and grew in size as more companions got added into the group. Soon this casual association led to the setting up of a Teacher’s Association as everyone felt a common platform was sorely needed to voice opinions, exchange notes, seek solutions and generally motivate one another.

The wait to formalize the Association was long as the dream of setting up a strong forum came with its own set of challenges, not the least being the question of funding. Using hard earned savings of the members, The Teachers World finally materialised into a concrete reality in 2019 and from then on there has been no looking back.
